2015 Umstead 100 Texting Stats

During the 2015 race we sent...

21,000 texts,
  to 1,217 Different phone numbers,
  in 189 different area codes,
  in 43 U.S. states, 3 Canadian Provinces, and Puerto Rico.

U.S. States to which no texts were sent:
  Alaska
  Kansas
  Mississippi
  Montana
  Nevada
  North Dakota
  South Dakota

  Quite obviously, this means that if you're running and
  you know someone in any of those no-text states, get 
  them to sign up so that we can have complete coverage! :-)
